Recording of Live Workshop on March 29, 2025
Step-by-Step Watercolor Painting Session
πΏ About the Workshop
In this live step-by-step watercolor workshop, we will paint a blooming almond branch together. I will guide you through every stage of the painting process, including:
β Color mixing β achieving soft, natural tones
β Water balance β controlling water on the surface and brush
β Brushwork β choosing the right brush for different effects
β Layering & application techniques β creating depth and delicate petals.
This workshop is focused on technique, where we follow a structured process to complete a specific scene. Unlike my painting classes, where I teach creative decision-making and developing your own style, this workshop is about precision and learning specific watercolor techniques.
In simple terms:
π¨ Workshops β Focus on technique while painting a specific subject step by step.
π¨ Classes β Teach creative decision-making and the artistic process to help you create your own unique work.
β³ Duration: Approx. 2.5 hours, plus a 15-minute break to allow the first wet layer to dry
Why Almond Blossoms?
Almond trees are the first to bloom in spring here in Israel, symbolizing new beginnings, hope, and renewal. Their soft white and pink flowers make for a beautiful and delicate watercolor subject, perfect for refining your skills in wet on-wet techniques, soft blending, and detail work.
This workshop is a great way to welcome spring with a fresh painting! Iβd love for you to join me on this creative journey.
